4 Pines Beer, Marvel Stadium
Marvel Stadium is located on the waterfront of Docklands Harbour and has welcomed more than 35million fans through its gates since opening in 2000.
The stadium is renowned for regularly staging AFL, A-League and BBL action under the famous retractable roof. Marvel Stadium has also hosted some of the biggest international sporting events such as UFC193, Soccer World Cup Qualifiers and International Rugby Union tests.
The container bar was pre-fabricated off-site and then craned in and installed all within 5 days.
The principal objective of this project was to deliver 4 Pines Beer’s newest bar in this iconic stadium within a tight deadline. The need to open the bar before Round 1 of the 2019 AFL season was paramount.
The end result was of an exceptional standard will all stakeholders very pleased with the final product.
Working along side 4 Pines Beer, Simbuilt designed and constructed custom stools and tables with their signature ‘rustic’ look. Other works included the construction of the overhead pergola with string lighting and planters.
