Southern Cross Austereo
Home to the World Famous Rooftop, Fox FM and Triple M radio, Southern Cross Austereo is known for hosting globally renowned artists right in the heart of South Melbourne. Simbuilt delivered this high-end, commercial fit-out of their existing 2,000 sqm multi-level office to provide a revamped front-of-house staff and entertainment workplace.

The principal objective of this project was to deliver a high-calibre, multi-mode entertainment, boardroom and collaboration hub, comprising several design features including a sophisticated custom ceiling grid system with custom lighting, unique acoustic wall paneling’s and the ability to seamlessly expand the boardroom.
Staging and coordination was a crucial part of this project’s success.
The delivery of the works was through a carefully managed six-stage program conducted in a 24/7 live broadcast and office environment. The end result was of an exceptional standard with all stakeholders very pleased with the final product.
